Far Off Visitors

We have been getting more and more traffic to the website lately. More and more people are finding the recipes through google searches, some of my current events posts have been getting hits from google, digg, or other social bookmarking sites. But to me the really interesting thing has been interest in the tuppercam.

Through the web stats I have noticed an almost daily visitor to the tuppercam from Autralia. So last week I posted a little message on the tuppercam page asking the visitor from Australia to drop us a note if he liked. This is the response that we got from him:
Hi Scott.

My name is Grant from Melbourne Australia. I can't remember how I found your site but the first time I saw it I put it in my favourites. So I have a peek most days as I find it interesting to see the changes the view over the lake goes through over such short periods of time. At the moment are you actually able to walk out there on the ice ? That'd be strange because we don't get lakes freezing over here ! To answer your question, no I haven't been to the USA, I'd like to go one day. One place that I'd like to see is Crater Lake in Oregon, they have a webcam there too and it's great to see the scenery change so much. Maybe one day :)

Keep up the good work Scott.

Regards,
I find it cool that people from all over the world have found my little piece of the internet.

Grant, to answer your question, yes we are able to walk out on the ice, in fact people drive there cars and trucks out there to go ice fishing. Keep visiting, the view is much better in the warmer months.
