I'm a Selfish Bastard

This weekend Brenda and I headed out to CT to help Sherri and Kevin with a bathroom tile project. We have been looking forward to this for a while now. It's nice to help out friends and family on their projects, and It was nice to spend time with them, and to finally see their house for the first time. We got there Friday night, and Alyssa, Kelly, and her friend Dave came over to visit.

Saturday morning we started laying out the tile. Sherri and Kevin liked the diagonal layout, so that's the way we went.




Sunday morning we got up and went to the flea market for a couple of hours. We picked up a couple of cool things. After the flea market we went back to the house to grout the tile. Sherri picked out a charcoal grout. It looked like a mess going on, but after washing it down a few times it looked great.



I think it turned out great! We'll be back out to CT soon to work on the other bathroom.
