Peanut Butter Butter Cream Frosting

What's better than peanut butter and chocolate together?  I agree, not a whole lot.  So we decided to make some peanut butter frosting to top our chocolate cupcakes this weekend.

They turned out great!  Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

• 1 Stick of butter softened (1/2 cup)
• 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

• Beat the butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer at medium speed until blended
• Reduce the speed to low and gradually beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla
• Increase the speed to high and beat for 3 to 5 minutes, until smooth and fluffy
• Spread on cakes, or pipe onto cupcakes
